Does anyone else program in Delphi? I've been learning it on my own with the help of a couple of really good books.

My problem is that I can't seem to find anything on the 'net that is remotely useful (unless programing DB apps), for game programing, directx, or anything else even remotely fun.

I know Delphi can do this type of program, but I can't find any information anything like it..

I've tinkered in Delphi but thats it. I don't really like it as a programming language. I like that it has an inline assembler, but other than that I'll use VB, because its much easier.

Did you try www.delphi.com (http://www.delphi.com) ? They have a lot of useful information for this kind of programming.

Good luck !

I don't really think that Delphi would be the best language for DirectX programming. Over all C++ works great with DirectX. VB you can do some cool stuff too but it's just not as open as C++.
