How many people have tried out the new game Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt?

That game is freaking awesome!!! I just to one point where I SWEAR it is a scene from the beginning of Saving Private Ryan. You remeber how they all got dropped off by those amphibious vehicles? They all run up the beach while it seems like a mile away there are serious machine guns shooting away and all you got to hide behind are a bunch of STICKS in the GROUND!!!

Has anyone tried this game? If so, lets hear your opinion... and DID YOU GET PAST THIS PART???!!?? and if you did.... HOW?!?!?!?!

Yeah, stay behind the beach obstacles, and move when someone else moves. That way they get torn up, and you dont. Just hop from one to another all the way up to the ridge. Theres a medic behind one of the obstacles for some quick healing, and another when you get to the fence ridge. Blow the fence, then run up to the base of the bunker, and your captain will give a speil. 2 guys will run out, while the nazis are shooting at them, jump into the mortar crator with the sniper rifle. Pick off the two machine gunners, then run to the next one. Pick the two replacement machine gunners, and jump into the trench. Save often..theres tons of land mines here.

Then you should be set.

I loved SOF, and am anxiously awaiting SOF2! I liked it a lot better than Return to Castle Wolfenstein. RCW had great graphics (being based on the Q3 engine, but wasn't as challenging and I felt the ending was kinda lame.

I played SOF through three times, I think. I like the storyline, but the graphics can be a bit much. My daughters always hate it when I intentionally shoot the baddies between the legs (a "nether" region shot), but I love the way they go down when shot there... :D :D :D

Medal of Honor is also based on the QUake 3 engine. AND.... I THINK... (don't quote, I could be wrong, I've been known to be wrong...) I THINK... that SOF2 is also based on the Quake 3 engine.

MOH kicks A$$. Picked it up a couple of weeks ago. I'm still in N Africa blowing stuff up until the Oss agent comes back. (Does He?) Wish I had more time to play, I got to wait til the little tackleboxes go to bed.
