the console geeks or the PC geeks?
My bet is the PC geeks would win the day with their long-corded mice and magnetic screwdrivers. Not to mention the deadly flying coasters. At the very least, the everpresent caffiene buzz would give em an edge.

I'll second that -- the keyboard / mouse has got to be the best. You can only cram so many buttons on a hand held controller.

I'd like to think the PC geeks, but since PC geeks are stuck (for the most part) using Windows, and since Windows crashes alot,.. I guess I'd have to put my money on the console geeks. Remember, your army is only as strong as it's weakest link (Windows being the weakest link in this case).

Well, the war would be a tacticle battle, and would be won by the PC geeks. I think it would unfold thusly:
"Operation Windows Weenies", would be the first assault from the PC camp. Hundreds of barely literate, MS mindwashed borg, would be sent from the PC camp, out to blindly get in the way of the console gamers, wildly flailing their arms, with their battle cry of: "It must be a hardware problem"
The console gamers could reply to this, by throwing several thousand un-used copies of "ET" for the Atari 2600, causing the borg to hurl down their emulators in disgust.
After several hours of battling with Street Fighter clones, and Command & Conquer sequels, the console weenies (in a last desperate effort) call in the Sega Deamcast artillery, but are left flat when there isnt any ammo.
Thats just the way I see it panning out anyways...

One word: hard disks.
OK, that's 2 words. But they would make great projectile weapons!

The playing field has been leveled on this aspect with all the Xboxes being sold. They use a half @$$ M$ OS, and it crashes quite a bit.

Well, the PC geeks would have a hardware advantage, and as long as they were running windows 2k or xp they'd have stable software. They also have a vision advantage, 2048x1536 and 32 bit color is unbeatable and allows us to "see" more than twice as far as console hotdoggers
However, PC geeks do have an achille's heel. X-Box geeks could act as spies for the console geeks, and we'd have to watch out for that.
However, the console people have more warriors than the PC people. The price of consoles is much less than a good gaming PC, plus those who are afraid of computers are more likely to ally themselves with the console geeks.
PC geeks can use networks and to a larger extent the internet to interact and launch large scale coordinated attacks upon the console geeks. Some console geeks can connect their consoles to the internet, however, so they might use our technology against us.
It is clear that PC geeks do have definate control advantages against the console geeks. There is one more advantage that we have: cheating. If worse comes to worse in the war of the geeks, someone from the PC alliance could quickly come up with a cheat or hack or bot that would render us unstopable. The console geeks, without the ability to patch their games against our cheats and without the ability to mod their games would quickly fall.
Again, the XBOX geeks could pose a problem here, with the possibilty that they could patch against the cheats and create their own. However, the PC geeks could call upon the forces of our hacking community to take advantage of the WIN2k vulnerabilities that xbox has, being win 2k based and all. Our hackers could quickly bring down all xbox systems, and the console geeks, without keyboards, would be unable to hack our systems. Of course, we wouldn't attack the xboxes, we'd use this as a threat to make them do our bidding, and as a way to control them if they did try to stab us in the back.
As you can see, the PC geeks would win the war of the geeks. Bring it, victory is immenent!!!
