You might want to add some string testing for the email account. I was able to enter a single name with no server. "jblow" without "@msn.com". Password looks good. Options look good. Are there any character restrictions on the other text boxes? The username I entered had special charatcers ($) and a space. As long as you accounted for that kind of input, it looks good.

I would also suggest dupliate username testing. I was able to process three identical accounts with no errors. That is assuming you don't want duplicate usernames. ;)

worked fine for me. If you remenber to enter all the information in, maybe a goback link so the person could see what they forgot to enter.

so you cant duplicate email or usernames, may want to try again. It was working for me

Hmmmm. I used the username of test in several cases. It's working good now. Would not let me enter a duplicate username. Cool. But I was still able to enter an incomplete email with no errors.

Here's a thought too...would you want some exceptions to allow a person to enter multiple usernames for a single email account? Since the username translates to the game character name, are users allowed to keep multiple characters?

Yeah the turns (when I get the code done) well generate 2 turns an hour, maybe more any who this will total 80 after 24 hours.

cool more turns. If you get attacked during your turn, do you not use up the turns? I notice that so often the turn number will stay the same. for example

have 150 turns, use 10 turns, after a hunt says that I still have 150 turns.

I have even seen it in the dojo section.

Yeah, I think you need to update the info at the bottom. It is showing the old data. For example, before a hunt I showed 800 turns. I hunted for ten and the resulting screen showed I still had 800, although the database did subtract the turns. The next hunt I used twenty turns and the next screen showed I had 790 left, which was what should have showed previously. Also, I don't know if you accounted for any damage during hunts, but my health always showed 100.

Just smack me if I'm getting too far ahead. :D

um does the bank charge a fee to do transactions. because I have no money left. I tried withdrawing 200 dollars but it withdrawed everything. then I tryed depositing everything and it worked but when I tried withdrawing just 50 dollars it showed me that I had $50 in hand but nothing in the bank. and when I redeposited it again it disapear totaly. So I have no more money :(

You also are missing a check to see how much money is left in your bank account. I had zero in my account and withdrew $400,000,000 and went and bought myself a Death Sword! :eek: My account shows -$400,000,000 but I don't mind. :D

Im having a problem with IE 6.0 with the updates on it. When ever you delete a message then go back to the town you have to refresh to get it to go away. But for older IE 6.0 and below works fine theres no problem.

in the inn you have the text that looks to be links in the future, like Daily News, View Your Stats, Make Announcment. Will these future links be different from the links on the home page. or will they be just a shortcut to the current pages?

I see a problem with the messaging. you have to take sure that you type your message in one minute because when ever the page reloads you lose the text that you have typed.

also it looks like the message are not being sorted correctly. my message at 10:53 looks to be in the wrong spot.

and I landed up sending a message to the Ye Old Bank. if you can you might want to disallow messages to be sent to the bank.

Is the bank supposed to add gold to your account over time. On Friday I had $200 in the bank, by this morning it had grown to $700. That's some hella good interest! :eek:

Ok, update time...

First of all I like the ASCII pics in the forest so far. Good stuff.

But, I found a small bug in the Armor shop. When you buy armor, it doesn't subtract from your money on hand. Therefore, I could buy a coat, sell a coat, buy a coat, sell a coat and so on until I've built up as much money as I wanted. While I was purposesly trying to cheat, ummm, I mean test your game I decided to move to the next level up on the item list. Coats only give a 100 return while the heavy coat would give much more. So I bought a heavy coat, it was equiped and again, no money subtracted from the on hand. However, when I tried to sell the heavy coat back I got a MySQL error. It reads as follows:

I think that's all I've got for now. But it looks like you're coming along nicely on the forest. Looking good. :cool:

wow, yeah I do some asp code here at work for our intranet, but I still like php better. Less coding in php which I like.

Example:

Emailing:
Php = 1 line of code
Asp = 10 lines of code or more + a moduale for the IIS server :(

Made a new check, if you delete your cookie or logout you must log back in or else the game will throw you to the login page :)
