So who's playing diablo 2 lord of destruction online?

I'v got 3 characters on the go right now.
on Uswest I have a lvl 65 sorc and a 39 barb
on useast I just started a new pally.

sorc is Damned Angelica, barb and pally are both abbrakadabra (got pissed at all the good names being taken)

Im a Diablo II addict, simple, and somehow really addictive gameplay, will probably keep me coming back for a long time yet. Until Diablo III comes out of course :)

I heard about there being some cheaters online, and a little unfairness on occasion, is it bad at all?

I used to play LOD waaaay too much. One day I was toying around with some stuff and decided not to play for a while.

Anyways my lowest of 8 chars is lvl 59! They all where elite gear and mostly uniques and elite sets.

I have a lot of items that I'll never use. I am on USeast.

I only started playing DiabloII recently and haven't played online at all.

I have played it through once but never online. Is it different from the first Diablo online? I tried that once and got really sick of all the punk kids. What all do you do, or what is so different when playing the game online?

same style of game play, just more characters,better graphics, and you no longer find spell books, but gain "skills" with experience.

havent played DII online yet, but have been playin for a bit... got myself a lvl 21 paladin, a la namesake, and am just startin up(re: no experience at this second) a necro by the name of K-Bomb

everytime I would play online it would lag like a b!@#% so I only played for ....1 hour? most of which was getting in and out of chat rooms

bnets servers are plauged by outbreaks of lag once in a while. ususally though, this is a result of the latest bug being heavily exploited (so says bnet staff). Usually the lag only lasts for a few days.

but remember, at least you don't have to keep paying to play online!
