I already own an 8gb hard dirve which I plan to keep at fat 16, and will soon purchase a new drive which I hope to format in FAT 32 will this be viable??

Cheers

you should have no problems at all with doing that

just a quick question
why would you want to keep an 8gb drive as a fat 16 when by converting it to a fat32 it will actuall let you use more of the drive for storage

This is temporary as I hope to copy files from the 8gb to the new drive and wanted to ensure that when I joined the two drives that no problems would occur.

What you want to do should work as long as you have Win95 OSR2 or later.
