[RESOLVED] lock ups

I have a ABIT BH6 motherboard, I am trying to build a system with a ATI Charger 8Meg AGP card, a Promise ultra 66, a Voodoo2, Realtek based network card, a Lectron Lucent based modem, and a Creative Live value. The system will lock when online, there is no error messages and it will lock at other times also. I believe it is a problem between the modem and Promise card. I have the Promise card in slot 1.

The promise ultra 66 may not work with abit bh6. I had a promise ultra-33 with an abit bh6 and I would get nothing but a lockup shortly after ram count. I switched my abit bh6 to a gigabyte bxe and haven't looked back since. You should switch your Promise ultra 66 with Abit's Hot Rod 66 card and you shouldn't get any more lockups. or switch you bh6 to abit's be6 which already has the hod rod 66 controller integrated on the board.
