Hi, I have a IDE WD 3.2 gig harddrive and it's just over two years old. What would happen if I set this to DMA and this WD harddrive is not a DMA compatible? I've been on the WD web site and can't find any info about a DMA setting for this harddrive so should I just set it to a DMA setting and see what happens? Also is there a way to start up the computer if I find out that this harddrive is not DMA compatible.
