Hi, I have a IDE WD 3.2 gig harddrive and it's just over two years old. What would happen if I set this to DMA and this WD harddrive is not a DMA compatible? I've been on the WD web site and can't find any info about a DMA setting for this harddrive so should I just set it to a DMA setting and see what happens? Also is there a way to start up the computer if I find out that this harddrive is not DMA compatible.

Which DMA or you seeking for? Have you tried to search through the Obsolete product from that site.

In case if you need it:
