What should be in the crash box...?

When I do the three fingered salute I get a load of processes this seems to differ drastically from machine to machine, obviously I appreciate h/w & loaded s/w will affect this... BUT what processes should there be for...

1. Virgin (are there any left :D ?) xp install NO modem, NO Network card.

2. Virgin (look there are some :eek2: ) xp install modem, no network card

3. Clean xp install with network & modem...

So post up those big lists boys & girls...:D

Haven't a clue what most of the processes are doing and it's bugs me too. If there is something running I now have no idea if I can end it or not. If anyone does know what the most basic process are or where a list could be found I'd apreciate it too.
