NEW YORK (Reuters) -- In a continuing effort to exploit its franchises, New Line Cinema has greenlit "Freddy vs. Jason," signing Brad Renfro to star alongside Robert Englund, who'll be back for his eighth performance as Freddy Krueger, Variety reports.
