Major Kong August 6th, 2002, 04:01 PM His bit on the Scottsman inventing the game of golf is one of the funniest routines I have heard in years! **** NO!!! We're gonna do it 18 more times!!! :D ephmynus August 6th, 2002, 06:16 PM That is hilarious. My wife and I watched it the first night and I taped it Sunday night. I like when he messed up and stopped and said, "I inhaled!" :D Stanley_Kubrick August 6th, 2002, 06:57 PM Very Funny, he is a genuis. but, if there are any Eddie Izzard fans out there, you may have noticed Robin lifted quite a few of Eddie's jokes. (perhaps as payback for getting Eddie his HBO special way back when?) Rellik August 6th, 2002, 07:02 PM One of my favorites was his take on Bill Gates/MicrosoftMonopoly is just a game, I wanna take over the whole F***ing world! Spaceman Spiff August 6th, 2002, 07:14 PM Television? Television!?! What is this thing called "television"?? I do not know this thing... Spaceman Spiff August 6th, 2002, 07:30 PM Nah, although my video card supports TV In/Out, I don't have it hooked to anything. We don't subscribe to a cable service. After my antenna hookup died about 15 years ago and I never got around to fixing it, I found that I really didn't miss television. Don't get me wrong, I'd watch it if I had it hooked up, but I find that I don't have enough time in my day to do all the things I want to do as it is...TV would just make it worse...so I don't miss it. I do have a VCR attached and watch a movie or two every other week. Otherwise, I'll watch a DVD on the computer when I get around to it and play my FPS games...that's about it... :) Major Kong August 6th, 2002, 08:15 PM Originally posted by Stanley_Kubrick Very Funny, he is a genuis. but, if there are any Eddie Izzard fans out there, you may have noticed Robin lifted quite a few of Eddie's jokes. (perhaps as payback for getting Eddie his HBO special way back when?) I did notice that!!! I really noticed it during the church/religion routine. Oh and I think Eddie Izzard is funny as h&!! too. :D Poseidon August 6th, 2002, 08:37 PM Btw - what race is M.J. calling himself these days anyhow? http://members.directvinternet.com/~xposeidonx/confused4.gif :D Larommi August 6th, 2002, 08:51 PM That whole thing was great. And the end with the Viagra and oral joke was a good way to end the night. I wonder if Robin would sweat as bad if he shaved his hair shirt off? cc_penguin August 6th, 2002, 10:06 PM Aw man, we dont have HBO, but I would get it just to watch Robin Williams. He is one of the best comedians out there in my opinion... DonJ August 7th, 2002, 12:15 AM We don't have cable either but we saw it over at our sister-in-law's house. My wife turned so red so many times it was unreal. And yes, the ending with him sneaking peaks behind his hairy arm was a hoot! Hey Spiff-Meister, we live way out in the country but I put up a nice antenna on a 25 foot pole and we now get all of the local channels (http://tv.yahoo.com/grid?title=&subtit=&desc=&contrib=&search=&starthour=&startdate=&range=&src=&setlineupcookie=true&.intl=us&zip=78238&.done=&lineup=us_DMA641) ...about 14 if you include the Spanish channels. We also watch about 4 or 5 movies a week on video. Spaceman Spiff August 7th, 2002, 12:31 AM I'd re-attach the antenna, but my wife said she'd rip off my right arm and beat me upside the head with it. I'll pass, but thanks for the idea... :) windrivers.com
