does anybody know the location of these laptop drivers for WinME? the notebook has both model numbers on it so i'm not really sure which one it is. theres nothing on driverguide.com or the sony website.

Looks like this is the cut down version of the 707 - which is at this Sony site (http://www.ita.sel.sony.com/support/pc/pcg705707/)
Also to download drivers you need to login in with the model and serial number as shown here at the UK site (http://www.vaio-link.com/uk/Validate.asp)
This laptop was shipped with 98 so there may not be any ME support - but hopefully most of the 98 drivers should work with ME -

Good Luck you may do better to just look for the reference drivers for the hardware involved.
