xp restarting itself

does anybody know anything about xp restarting the computer when you get to the welcome to xp screen.:flame:

Sounds like it would prefer to bsod but you have it set to restart on errors.

boot to safe mode (f8) right click my computer, properties, advanced, start and recovery settings button, uncheck automatically restart.

Then next time it should show you whats bugging it in a nice blue and white screen...or while you are in safe mode take a look in the event viewer and see what errors that is reporting.
