I've got a customer's laptop here, it's an IBM 600E, and he's got Windows XP running on it. He wants me to take out the 6GB HDD, ghost it to a 20GB HDD, and install the 20GB. Ok, so all's well in the world, the ghost worked and I have the 20GB in, first bootup = Missing NTLDR grrrrrrr

At first I thought it might be a BIOS limitation, but if I take the drive out, it gives me the ASCII IBM missing OS screen (yah, you know what I'm talking about).

Is it possible to save this thing without reinstalling the OS from scratch? Are there any issues in using ghost with WinXP?

BTW - It's XP home edition

Thanks,

Anyhoo, I'm forcing the store owner to go buy us ghost 2002, so I'll try that tomorrow, and since there's no more service left to do tonite, I just might get to go home early lol!

Thanks, my slow internet connection appreciates your navigation through symantec's website for that article :D :D
