For all those cat lovers out there:

Toby is the craziest cat I've ever owned. He isn't afraid of water - he likes to sleep in the sinks and walk on the edge of the bathtub when I'm taking a bath. He loves to fetch - straws, socks, whiffle balls, anything. He will actually carry it back to you in his mouth, drop it at your feet, and wait for you to throw it again.

I will never be able to give Toby to someone else because he tends to have a really nasty attitude. Not many people know how to deal with him. He's very territorial and lets everyone know that he is the king of the house. If you touch him the wrong way, or even LOOK at him the wrong way, he will get very angry and yowl at you. If you keep it up for long enough, he will eventually attack you and do his best to draw blood.

There is only one way to appease the mean kitty...by holding up a straw. You can drive him to the point where he's ready to rip your throat to shreds, then hold a straw in front of him, and he will stop mid-swat and start purring and rubbing up against your hand like you're his best friend in the entire world. Don't get me wrong, he has his moments of sweetness. He can be the friendliest cat on earth - but only when he wants to be.

D`ont you just love em?:D

Bit like our cat Even in looks. What PapaSmurf told me the cat turned up at his door one day with a dead bird and left it on his door step. He kept trying to ignore the cat but the cat seemed to adopt PapaSmurf as its new owner. PapaSmurf eventually accepted this creature and let him in the house. He didnt have a coller on and the vet said he had a hell of a time checking if it had a ID chip fitted. PapaSmurf decided to get the cat injected and have a full MOT to see if it was OK and then keep him.

The biggest problem is the cat doesnt allow anyone near it apart from PapaSmurf and has a very nasty habit of trying to claw people to death. I have even seen the cat attack the german shephard that stays 2 doors up. This dog is now scared of any cats that come near it, must admit it was kind of cool to see a cat stalk a dog whoch was 3 times the size of it.

I used to be scared of it and teneded to give it a very wide bearth when he stalked into the room, That was until one day he jumped onto my lap and wanted to be petted. Since then its like a kitten to both PapaSmurf and myself. To other people and animals its a four legged killing machine. I still dont know if its a boy or a girl cat and it doesnt have a name [Ewan if you read this PLEASE lets decide on a name]. PapaSmurf's excuse was he respects the cats privacy and said if the cat wants a name it should be the one to decide not us.
On a plus side we always wake up to a dead mouse/bird/frog/cow/ which the cat leaves us each morning for us on the door step.

http://www.meankitty.com/images/possumkitty.jpg PossumKitty might not be the prettiest thing to look at, but she is very devoted. Every night she comes to the house after playing in the woods all day for her delicious food

OK....somebody's got issues.....
