It is a 30-day trial, then they "ask you" to register it. US$ 15 for a license.

From the wording on their site I don't think paying for it is compulsory, but if it carries on working as well as it has been since I loaded it I will be contributing.

Does it stop banner ads too?

I've used popup killers before, they are good but this stops popups and banners which is great.

I too don't like pop-ups, but they (the website) require those to help pay for running a web site or server.

If it just one pop up then I don't mind.

If it pops up one too many, then I'll using a popup killer or avoid the website next time.

I'll try out Ad muncher, thanks for the link.

Been using this little prog for a week now and am generally happy with it 'cept occasionally my mouse gets jerkie and have found a sight or two that won't appear at all while running the 'muncher. One of the sites that doesn't work is espn!
