Reinstalling DirectX

Is there anyway to reinstall Directx in XP. My screen savers always run slow and jerky i'm using the Nvidia 30.82 Detonator drivers I cant't get any of the newer ones to work properly.

I thought it maybe a problem with Directx tha's causing my screensavrs to run slow.

Or anyone got any other suggestions?

You can try the new direct x 9. Specifically for XP
