Unsure about router settings

Setup:
Linksys BEFSR41 (firmware - 1.42.7, Apr 02 2002 )
3 XP machines
Roadrunner
Cable Modem

I'm trying to verify the settings of the router because I need to make sure I'm not getting issued multiple ips by RR. Setup was unbelievably easy which worries me a bit. Plugged all 3 machines to the router, plugged cable modem to WAN port and powered up. Booted machines and immediately all 3 were connected to the internet. All machines are getting 192.168.xxx.xxx ips.

How can I tell whether I'm stealing ips from RR resulting in banishment? What should I be looking for?

Forgot this: The reason for suspicion is the fact I was able to have 3 VPN connections (one on each machine) at once to work. I thought this was not allowed from one ip...thanks
