Okay, here are my system specs:
4 Gig Hard drive
160 Megs of Ram
Cyrix MMX (233 MHZ)
Windows 2000
Creative 3D Blaster Savage4 (32 Megabytes, my 3D Card)
I'm having a problem with Diablo II, where the video test suggest I use Direct3D, but when I start it up, it crashes, and I get this message on a blue screen with white letters:
***STOP:0x00000050 (0xB8CF1000, 0x00000001, 0xBFB14D60, 0x00000000) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
***Address BFB14D60 base at BFB08000, Date Stamp 397520a4 - gbsav4.dll
Beginning dump of physical memory

How can fix this problem? And give me another answer than to upgrade my system.

Sounds to me like a DirectX/Vid drivers compatibility problem. Make sure you have the latest drivers: Drivers (http://www.americas.creative.com/support/files/download.asp?Centric=7&nLangID=1&sDestURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eamericas%2Ecreative%2E com%2Fsupport%2Ffiles%2Fdownload%2Easp&sRef=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eamericas%2Ecreative%2Ecom% 2Fsupport%2Fwelcome%2Easp%3Fcentric%3D7) . Also, make sure you haved DX 8.x. Checking for patches from Blzzard is also a good bet. Beyond that, the Savage4 is old, it could be a pain to get it working.

using the hardware you have I think you may not have any options but to upgrade at least some of the hardware specifically the video card
I would also take a close look at your memory 160 megs sounds like some arrangement like 128 +32 pull the 32 out and try it

I tried those 2 things you suggested to me... Still didn't work. I tried to downgrade to DX 6.0 (which is the minimun version it's compatible with) and it still didn't work (so I'm upgrading back to DX 9.0).
DX says my card is compatible with Direct3D, and DirectDraw. I ran the tests, and it passed all of them.

Alright, eaither the Driver update or the Beta Bios update is faulty. Where can I get the original sottware for my 3D card, and how would I get the original Bios version back?
BTW, My 3D card is 3D Blaster Savage4

Er... It appears I made a mistake. It's a Cyrix MII proccessor. However, about the speed, I heard it's either 333 MHZ or 233 MHZ.

When you flashed your bios last time, did you not save the existing bios?
What is the motherboard model number?
When you pc boots it tells you what speed the processor is so you can know for sure.
The software for the 3d blaster.. assuming its a creative is at www.creative.com. click on support.

Well, it doesn't show me the processor speed at the beginning of startup, I get my 3D Specs though.
However, when I registered for a game, and I sent my system specs, it said the processor was 333 MHZ.

Thomas,
If the card works fine in the DirectX tests for Direct3D, the problem is not with the card. The problem might be with something running in the background or with a compatibility issue on the part of the game. Make sure all background applications are closed before running the game. Also, try contacting the game manufacturer to find out if there are any game patches available.

Apparently, maybe Diablo 2 isn't compatible with my Video Card.

I have the same card. When you have the option in setting up the video in the game, do not select the one with all the 3d and stuff(can't remember the exact settings). On my 98 machine the only way I could get the game to play directly was by telling it that I wanted to use default settings, and no direct3d or anything(it was the first of the two choices). Try that out and let me know. I tried everything you did, and passed all the "tests", but the game would not show any print and would not play until I changed this.
