Quick Launch next to Start Menu?

I am having a brain lock today. If the Quick Launch has moved so there is a space between it and the start button how do you get rid of the space and put it back next to the Start button? Win98se.

you'll want to grab the one closest to the start button (right beside it) and drag it all the way right
