Hey yall, just wonderin if anyone knows of any patch or trick to get GTA3 to run with opengl drivers, so I can get it goin with my voodoo 2 card (onboard VGA yields about 2fps!).

If its a standard voodoo 2, you have 12 mb video ram. GTA3 requires 32mb... I am surprised it runs at all.

I know it well, mate, but it ignores the fact when running with my 8 meg onboard! so i thought there might be a workaround.

I know a great workaround.

Buy a new graphics card.

You are a potential poster child for that Save the Geeks thingy, if I'm correct.

Is that an AGP card you need or a PCI?

If you dcide to get a new video card, I have noticed a lot of PCI 64MB and up ATI cards around at local computer stores in my area.

They are usually fairly cheap too :)
