I have a friend who loves the playable demo of FireFight which apparently was last issued in a full version in 1996(not the current firefight game which is completely different). It says EA and Epic MegaGames were responsible for it. Nothing on their site and no response to my emails. Anyone know where I might find the full version?

Check this (http://studwww.ira.uka.de/~s_arent/epic/Classics.htm#FireFight) out.

That's the game. Now I need the full version. The official site epicgames.com doesn't work. I guess I need a good used software site.

Buy it Now! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3003890514&category=27233)

More info here (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=2863) with a link of a nefarious nature.

underdogs have a policy on abandonware and will correct any of their links if so requested. A very grey area....

They are part of the Backup (Nudge-Nudge/Wink-Wink) Club?

This is a group that a friend of mine started in 1986. Its basic premise: You make a backup copy of your software and then loan it to someone. They're just borrowing the disk and will return it. (Honest!!)

Although my friend routinely protested, I always thought the BackUp (Nudge-Nudge/Wink-Wink) Club never really existed.
