DUN 1.4

Has anyone installed it yet? Are there any problems? Does it work with I.E. 5.5? I use Windows 95 with I.E. 5.5. I have DUN 1.3 and am hedging whether to upgrade to 1.4. I haven't come across any security problems.

This is unusual for MS to release an update for OS's that have been "discontinued". What exactly does this update fix?

I have used that update a number of times, usually when winsock gets its knickers in a twist.

Dun 1.4 has been around awhile Mac. If I remember correctly the updates where not that critical. I have used 1.4 for 98 and it works just fine I know there is some differences ( at least in download and size ) but I would think it would work just fine. If you have 1.3 though I don't think the change is all that significant, but like I said it's been awhile and I don't remember the details of the update.

Oh and Mac, my downloads of those updates are dated Oct. 3 2001 so they are a bit old and I believe that was still during the support time for win95b+ wasn't it?
