Cd Rom Drive Gone

M590 Motherboard, I enabled DMA in cd rom properties, rebooted and it has vanished, tried sys restore and it won;t

Boot to safe mode and access device manager and turn off dma for the cdrom... most cdroms cannot handle having dma on.
