Running Dos Game under 98se

Anyone know if there is a patch to run the old dos game FADE TO BLACK under windows 98 se ? I know it's older than the Creator , but I had fun with it way back when . :)

Haven't loaded it in awhile .When I try to run it
under 98 ,it says something to the effect that I
need to add a "/w " , or as best my memory recalls . Trying to run under 98 dos ,the game locks up , even if I tell it I have no sound card . [Useing on-board sound , no dos drivers .]

take whatever info it tells you about additional switches and use them to create a shortcut on the desktop with the program and needed switches.

example

make a shortcut to c:\game\game.exe /w"

see if that works.

does the game documentation give instruction for creating a boot disk. a lot of old dos games did and that may be the answer.

also if 98 dos isn't working even with a boot disk, you could try freedos and see if that works. www.freedos.org
