If it is an onboard video, we would need to know the make and model of the motherboard - or if it's definitely an intel, the chipset.

NT4 video settings can be stubborn to configure if you don't have specific drivers for it.

Like Noonoo said, we'll need to have the specific brand and/or name of your motherboard. If you also have the brand and model for the graphics card, that would be great.

Welcome to WinDrivers. ;)

There are software utilities which can tell you exactly what parts your system is made up of. Is that what you're referring to?

Also, I'm guessing you don't know what the video card chipset is on the motherboard, correct?

OK there are a number of utilities available - www.hwinfo.com - get the dos version, or if the machine is online, go to www.belarc.com and download the free personal audit.

Tell us what it says about your mainboard from belarc.

Also another way is to boot the machine and hit the pause/break key while it is counting ram. On the screen will be a very long number - often it starts with a backwards date. Post that number here and we can look up which motherboard you have.

Here is the seimens driver page for your system (http://www.fujitsu-siemens.se/partners/sweden/techsupport/pc/Pro_D7.htm)

It is one of two matrox cards, you will have to work out which it is.
