If you can't even get up to go to the bathroom...... I hope someone gets shocked and the company gets sued over a product like this! Major Kong February 22nd, 2003, 04:12 AM Isn't it wonderful that a simple item invented in West Virginia would become a high tech PC gadget! Of course if the toothbrush would have been invented anywhere else it would have been called a...teethbrush! :D As a native of West "By God" Virginia I don't want to hear any whining! Orangeman February 22nd, 2003, 04:44 AM Computers were supppedly invented to make our lives easier, but if you are reduced to having to brush your teeth in front of your computer I don't know which one of us is the winner, us or the computer! What kind of devious, selfish SOB would have invented such a thing! techs February 22nd, 2003, 04:45 AM I'm waiting for the usb 2.0 version. It can brush your teeth 40 times faster. Bah, it was invented in KY, you know we west virginians cant invent! BTW, what part were you born/live in? Major Kong February 22nd, 2003, 06:51 PM Originally posted by Radical Dreamer Bah, it was invented in KY, you know we west virginians cant invent! BTW, what part were you born/live in? I was born in Welch, WV (McDowell County). Ironically I never lived in WV. My folks were living in Bluefield (on the Virginia side), my Mom was visiting her parents over in Gary (actually Skygusty) when she went into labor, and they took her to Welch. I still have a lot of relatives in the Mercer County/McDowell County area. My parents live in Southwest Virginia not far from Bluefied WV/VA (well as the crow flies ;) ). The Computer Valet February 22nd, 2003, 09:08 PM So, let's think about this rationally: Let's say I do want to brush my teeth while using my computer. Ok, so, what do I do with the toothpaste-cum-minty-spittle once I'm done? Unless I happen to be at the sink with my laptop, I'm still going to have to get up to rinse out. Or do I swallow it? And then there's the issue of cleaning the brush! Anyway, you have to get up anyway. I suppose if you have a small apartment, you could get a USB extension cable and run it all the way to the bathroom. Does this thing work on a hub? What happens if I am brushing my teeth, and a roomate hotsyncs his Palm? (both are on HUB) the mind boggles.
