Thanks GokuSS2 March 9th, 2003, 07:56 PM Please be more specific Pro or non-pro versions. Well I will assume you mean Pro. The Radeon 9700Pro has a 256-bit memory interface allowing for 19.8 GB/s while the 9500Pro only has a 128-bit memory interface allowing for only 8.8GB/s We all know how important bandwidth is.;) ClickHere2Surf.com March 9th, 2003, 08:00 PM Originally posted by GokuSS2 We all know how important bandwith is.;) Why do you say that? And when it states the bandwitdh in the specs is that with or without the bandwitch compression? Thanks GokuSS2 March 9th, 2003, 08:08 PM The specs mean without bandwidth compression. Doom3 is going to take every drop of memory bandwidth GokuSS2 March 9th, 2003, 08:11 PM BTW if you are thinking about buying a new card you might want to wait a few weeks considering that ATI just released the 9800,9600, and 9200. windrivers.com
