My computer has recently been attacked by the CIH virus and I have to setup everything from scratch. I've installed an Adaptec AVA-1502E SCSI adapter in my computer for my Microtek E3 scanner. When I used the Window95 hardware self-detection function to search for the adapter, only an AHA model was detected.
I would appreciate it if anyone can upload the Adaptec AVA-1502E SCSI driver for Win95. Thank you for your help.

It seems like I have run into this problem before with Microtek scanners. Win95 detects the SCSI card just fine and installs a driver, but you have to change the driver to get it to work correctly. Another machine that is set up here at work has a Microtek E3 and an Adaptec controller. Here is what driver and resources it is configured for:
Adaptec AHA-150x/1510/152x/AIC-6x60 SCSI Host Adapter
I/O Range 0140-015F
IRQ 10
I believe that the driver used is one that comes with Win95. Of course, this driver and these settings may only work if you have the EXACT same card that our computer has. And, there are jumper settings on the card to set the I/O range and interrupt.
Good luck,
Steve

post your email address on this site and
mail your driver.am using the same card
for a film scanner. i also have
an adaptec config file which you will find
useful for that card.
