I'm trying to install windows nt 4.0 on my computer, but it doesn't recognize my E and F drives.
I'm currently using win95 with Standard Dual PCI IDE controller - a driver that is not available in the list of WinNT setup.
After trying to make WinNT find E and F drives, win95 now still sees all C, D, E and F drives, but upon exiting to DOS Mode - the computer recognizes only C and D, and i cannot access E and F.
What can I do???

I would appreciate it if someone would post me a reply in my e-mail as well:

thanx.

If this is a new hdd, and only the c: & d: are formatted, Win95 will "see" all of the drives, but not be able to use the unformatted drives. If they are formatted, which FAT? 16 or 32?

NT sees everything as scsi kinda, so it won't show it quite the same way, just use the standard controller it picks for you. Are you trying to make it dual boot? If you are then your c: drive has to be fat 16, not fat32, for it to work, and you tell NT which drive to install to, either in your c: with windows (not my favorite) or on it's own drive, such as d:\winnt or e:\winnt whatever. If you format the last 2 drives NTFS for NT, win95 won't be able to see them.
