Drivers for old Creative webcam 1100001212

Im looking for WINDOWS 2000 DRIVERS for the following product:

Creative
Model 1100001212
Made in china by VISION


I have searched Creative.com support area for drivers but no success.


Any help much appreciated.

This was a special, I seem to remember, stores like Walmart carried it. I did find drivers for it, but I can't remember where they are now.... I need a picture of it if possible?

My memory failed me, damn toothache...

I got in touch with creative. There are NO plans to put the drivers on the website. You have to order a new CD that costs 10 euros which includes postage, packing and VAT. You have to call Ireland for this, the number from the UK is 00 353 1 433 3200.

These were a special cheapo offer for Curry's, Dixons and PC World and they are no longer made or available.

I solved the problem by downloading some drivers Creative have for WebCam II USB. Check it out here:

(these are for windows 2000)


Im running Windows 2000 and they worked as a charm. They do not come with any software tho. Only drivers, which is enough for Netmeeting.

If I can get this webcam working, can i take still pictures as well as moving pictures, also is their a format that i can use so both camera and computer work togather rather than me trying to locate the picture i just took , Randy

This webcam now is unsupported. There are no drivers for XP, there were some beta drivers, but seem not to be available. In theory this camera is the same - try these drivers (http://204.247.157.162/drv_cam2.htm)
