Visioneer 5300 driver

Looking for a driver for Visioneer 5300 to use with Windows XP. I know that Visioneer does not offer one and even says that this scanner will not work with XP, but would at least like to try.

The Visioneer website says this "The Visioneer 5300 USB scanner is not supported on Windows XP, although it may function properly on most systems". I would try the Win2000 and winMe drivers and see if yours will work. Probably best bet is on the paralell port.

There is a workaround that you can use..I've tried it with varying success look here (http://www.scanner-drivers.com/drivers/63/63403.htm)
