critical update

Has anybody else had a problem with the critical update(from the microsoft windows update site) Q814033 or Q811493, it seem to be Q814033 which make my machine run slowly,once removed my machine runs normally, anybody got any ideas!

Esc K7S5A M/B
AMD 2200+
512 DDR Mem
60Gb HDD
128Mb Geforce 4 MX 440 (Sparkle)
