Hello again Folks. Perhpas you could help me with another problem I am having.

I have a Mitshubishi Diamond Pro 67TXV 17" monitor and an SiS 6326 (8mb AGP) video card. I want to set my card to use 1152x864 at 70 or 75hz .. I can't access 1152x864 at all, that would great to get that back. I tried using 1280x1024.. But I am stuck at 60hz :(

My other Windows 2000 computer has only a 4mb Diamond video card and a 17" monitor, and 1152x864 @ 70hz works perfectly.

Please help?

Did you try installing the correct driver for your monitor? (http://www.necmitsubishi.com/corpus/O/G/mitsubishi_new.zip)

Updated drivers for you 6326 can be got here (http://download.sis.com/sisdlc/index.jsp)

I suggest you do both and then see if you are able to change the resolution as you would like to do.

Not all video cards support that resolution.

What refresh rate do you have your monitor set at?

Try lowering it to 60hz and seeing if it will allow 1152x864 then.

Hello NooNoo.

Thanks for the drivers for the monitor and video card! Those, with some tweaking in Windows - allowed 70hz at 1280x1024 :) Much more visually pleasing than 60hz!
