Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Clicking on folder in Windows Explorer closes explorer

Clicking on a folder in the left pane of Explorer causes the Explorer to close. This does not happen by clicking on a folder in My Computer or any other window. I will wait for further input from the forum and then I guess I have no choice but to do a clean install

Try running sfc from start, run

Also check the mouse applet in control panel, you might have something funky selected for left click under certain circumstances if it is not just a regular mouse.

No, I have nothing unusual in the Mouse properties and I have run "sfc /scannow" with no success.
