What happened to SMARTGART?

I just installed CATALYST drivers 3.4 and I noticed that SmartGart have disappeared from the display settings!

Have anyone else noticed this and does anyone know why ATI removed it?

If you really want SmartGart, you might want to try the OmegaDrivers. Omega kindly left it in.

I installed the latest Catalyst drivers for my AIW8500DV and SMARTGART is still there, hmmm.

From what I have read, on some systems SMARTGART causes unstability issues, so ATI provided an Un-Installer; but you would have to run the uninstaller separately.

You could un-install the current drivers and re-install them and see if it comes back
