need opinion for a good junk mail destroyer

Anyone know of a good killer of junk mail. Right now I'm testing mailwasher, it's ok, but I would like other opinions. Thanks. Note: This is for a home machine personal use.

it's a mail classifier, that changes the subjects of messages classified a junk . . . these messages can be easily deleted with a filter in your email prog.

for example. I set up 2 "buckets" good and spam. when popfile detects spam, it changes the subject to [spam]Original subject. I tell OE to delete anything with [spam]in the subject. I don't change the subject on good emails.

if it mis-classifies something, you launch the interface and reclassify it and popfile learns from it's mistakes. after training it for a couple of days it's been pretty flawless. I know gollo uses it too and loves it just as much.

I'm curious as to what you don't like about mailwasher.

It works great for me, the only issue for me was the out of the box options don't have the hueristic strength set to 'high' and I don't think it defaults to checking email versus the DNS Spam/Open Relay Blacklist servers. Once I enabled those two options it rarely misses a thing.

I think that is Mailwashers best selling point in that it will give you filtering versus 3 realtime databases of spammers, and I have a free (beta) version checking 4 email addresses.

Again just curious, I'm not trying to hassle or sell you anything :)

I'm just trying the demo out, though I would like to test others. Right now, I do like it..however, wish there was a way to have it start "automatically". You're not hassling me..;)
