hey...
my windows xp folder contains a folder called LastGood.
this folder takes up to 150+ MB and contains many files , that to my surprise are very old (according to their modified date).
i know that one of the systems recovery options is "Last Known Good Configuration".
is this the folder from which the recovery is made ??
can i emptry the folder ....? will it be refilled by the OS ??
thanks !!

Vulcan lastgood contains all the drivers that are needed to recreate the last good. What puzzles me is mine is 75 mb... of which the system32 under lastgood is 72 mb...
Perhaps you should investigate what you have in the last good folder a bit more.
As to whether you can safely delete it and it repopulate, I don't know.

Hey what gives on this thread ?
I see Vulcan's question beginning "hey .... thanks  " .... then I see Noo quoting Daniel C ... but there is no post by Daniel C .... & the answer Noo gives doesn't really relate to Vulcan's question ....
Is everyone as confus-ed as me ... or is this some 'evil' plot to make me more so ? ....  :D
