I use an old Epson FX-80+ in XP for some invoicing......XP loaded the drivers just fine.
Just make sure its connected to the computer and turned on before you boot.

according to this link (http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supAdvice.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes¬eoid=17766) XP has native drivers for that printer. If they don't work, use epsons win2000 drivers and download the status monitor for xp located here (http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=14424&infoType=Downloads)
