I require some assistance from anyone out there please?
Whilst I am in Windows XP and connected to the internet, when I close IE Windows, I get a error message saying Error: Connecting to Shell. How do I fix this error? The version of IE I am using is IE6.

2nd problem is that an error message appears saying Generic Host Process for Win32 Services, how do i fix this one, it is complaining about the SVCHOST.EXE file when I view the log file.

I have tried some things to overcome the problem but no luck and when I try to download some of the patches from the microsoft website (updates) I get the above error message which then stops the download function.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thank you kindly in advance
