I bought a 3-button mouse recently. How do I get the middle button to work in Windows? It's an unbranded mouse, and the mouse only came with DOS drivers.

Check with the manufacturer. ------------------ Steve Taylor - Service Manager Altoplanos Information Systems, Inc. They are, after all, just a device to send "code" relating to X&Y coordinates to the applet that places the cursor at a given location on the screen. Even some of the touch pad drivers will sometimes detect and operate a mouse. If you have a friend who has a Logitec 3-button mouse, borrow his/her installation diskettes and try that. You have nothing to lose. I have found that the Logitec drivers often work quite well with lots of generic mice. You may get all/some/none of the functionality features, but it's well worth a try. ------------------ Are we havin' fun yet? windrivers.com
