Linux and FP extensions

Hello all, I am running salckware 8.1 default full install. I am trying to get the front page extension to work. Can someone explain how to do this in simple terms that a window user can understand. Thanks for any help. Keystone

Okay I install the ./fp_install.sh it goes through the install and stops on can't find srm.conf file, then it exits. I have put the fp_install.sh an the fp40.linux.tar.z in the /etc/apache/ and in the /root and in the /usr/local/frontpage directories. Thanks for any help. Keystone
