I need to replace the black printhead in an Epson Stylus 3000 printer. I can get the part, but I need to calibrate the printhead after replacing it. In order to do so, I need the calibration program from Epson. I can't find it anywhere, though. If anyone knows where I can get it, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you and have a great day.

"Q: How do I calibrate my printer?
A: To align the print heads, make sure that paper is loaded and the printer has power. Access the Utility tab (Windows) or Utility button (Macintosh) located in your printer driver settings. Click the Print Head Alignment icon and follow the instructions on the screen to print a test page and select the correct alignment."

I don't think either of those items in the previous post will help with what you are trying to do..We had a special epson utility program at the epson authorized service center I used to work at..that would do a lot more than just align the heads..you have to calibrate the voltage and update the printer firmware to accept the new head information, and the utility does all that. The only problem is it isn't available to anyone that isn't an authorized service center as far as I know..
