just found a way to add an application to the list of launchable apps for scanner and camera events in windows xp.

just add a string with the name of the program as the name of the string, then the content of the string is the path of the program .exe

the location is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\microsoft\windows\curr entversion\stillimage\registered applications
