As in Win2003 server NetBeui is not supported, I want to use a similar protocol which is compatible in Win2003 Server. Please give some suggestions / protocols on the similar grounds.

Errr WHY ?

NetBEUI is an enhanced version of the NetBios protocol that is used by Microsoft Windows networking. It is a non-routable protocol, which means that computers that are not located on the same network segment or subnet can't communicate

& you might like, I guess, to read all of it ! ... Should I use NetBEUI ? (http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/netbeui.htm) (certainly others might ;))

Netbeui is a 'historical protocol' .. really no-one 'should' be using it now, there are 'better' ways ... :) .. so why ain't tcp 'no good' ?

Isn't NetBios enough? What is the objective?

Netbios over TCP/IP is fine for server to server communication, but the great thing about NETBEUI is that it's non routable. Let's say you have three windows XP or 2000 machines in the same physical location that need to have unique Public IP's . DO you go out and buy a $3000 Cisco SECURE PIX, or do you add the NETBEUI protocol, then bind Client for Microsoft Networks and File and Print Sharing to it. TCP/IP is bound to the adapter, so you dont lose it, and whammo. You now have a network that is secure from the outside world (as long as you stop those pesky uneeded services). NETBEUI is non-routable. So there is NO WAY someone can get in from public internet and past your router/firewall, then hack into machines using the well known \\machine\c$ or a thousand other vulnerabilities the CFMN & FAPS have. I think it's a pity they got rid of it. Of course, I'm the type of guy that holds on to 50pin 2GB scsi drives "Just In Case".

Go Figure.

What would make you think that a $3000 Cisco PIX firewall would be at all neccessary. A $39.00 D-Link/NetGear/etc.. hardware firewall can and does prevent NetBIOS access from outside your network allowing you to use NetBOIS over TCP/IP safely. If you are running a server without a firewall now you have greater problems than those caused by NetBIOS.
