Please help me with a virus that I recently got on my pc. I downloaded
"serials 2003" from kazaa (BEWARE) which gave me the backdoor.oblivion
virus. This virus left a program called "litleozy" in the windows
directory, which I was able to delete. But it has, of course, also made
references in the registry, and I dont know what do delete and what to
keep. But now every time I start my computer it says "cant find
litleozy.exe" and the same thing for "cmd32.exe". I'm a bit scared of deleting things in the registry.
Norton Antivirus says I should go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunServices
and delete the reference to ziploader 32.exe (as this is the most
comon name).

Okay... there is no reference to ziploader32.exe in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run.
So it must be another name I should search for?!
All help is appreciated. Please reply before I do anything stupid to
my pc.

-thanks

try the trend micro removal instructions..

http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=BKDR_OBLIVION.B

you are probably looking for entries in the registry that are closer to the names of the files that windows says can't be found..there are a number of variations of this virus.
