can anyone send me either the link for the driver for the sony dru510a(dwu14a) or the driver itself i`d be much greatful for any help ....

Well a little more info is nessecary like
What windows?
Did it ever work?
What software are you using to burn?
do you have any other cdroms and do they work?
The reason is that windows priovides the drivers for these. They need special software to burn disks.

Welcome to WinDrivers! Can you be more specific as to what problem are you having? This is the support page for the drive: http://sony.storagesupport.com/dvdrw/dru510adwn.htm There are some patches and updates posted there, but you will need the disk bundled with the drive for the actual burning software. You should not need a driver to read from the drive.
