I have a client with a 98 original disk & a broken (snapped) 98se 'upgrade' ...
So what I did was give her another copy of 98se on a backup disk, now technically this is another product & I'm oh so bad ... but 'morally' of course its right as she qualified for one of those 'free' upgrades anyway (where you paid handling for the disk) ...
What I want to know is if I hadn't been there to magic her an 'upgrade' is what should she have done to get herself a new 98se disk (be it upgrade or 'full') from uncle billy ...
