Hello Ladies and gentlemen,

I'm in a bit of a fix. I need a dos level driver for a Netelligent 10/100 TX NIC in a Compaq Presario 4240ES. I need the DOS driver for a network boot disk, so far I have completely run out of luck. And I've already tried the driver for a Compaq Presario 4230ES, seems to be a completely different nic. Any help?

They say they got DOS for that NIC here (http://www.network-drivers.com/drivers/71/71466.htm).

Or you could try the Compaq 10/100 TX PCI Intel WOL UTP NIC Drivers for Deskpro EP/SB/EN Series.
(ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp5501-6000/sp5729.exe)
But those are just for trial, as the specs don't list DOS as supported: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/networking/nics/10100pci/10100pci-qs.html

Thanks, but a few minutes after I posted this, I found a Chat link on compaq's website that connects to a live tech. He eventually found a driver for it.
