I have a similar trouble to the one yellow has faced, I have an Audio Excel 5.1 card, which uses CMI8738 drivers, I get blue screen errors within five minutes of opening any games and some other software. Please help! The blue screen also says the cmaudio.sys error message.

welcome to windrivers metalmaniac00 :)
Now the questions begin :D ... so please tell us.
1. o/s
2. patches etc applied (windows update, chipset drivers etc)
3. what you've tried so far
4. 'some other s/w' ? so what, as an example ...
5. The 'exact' wording on your bsod.
6. 'Other stuff' in your system, so any pci cards - modem, nic etc etc
No doubt there'll be more ;) ... the more you can say in your opening posts the better ;) - saves playing twenty questions & trying stuff you already did :)

Right the thread is 'magic' :D & will notify me when you've got this bit of info & I shall endeavour to answer :) .. Least you answer all the questions unlike yellow ;)
To save some time & effort you might to like to read both those threads thoroughly & try or at least eliminate some of those 'suggestions/approaches' ... there was a lot ! ;)
